Chrome butterfly latch in dish with offset M908

The M908 lock is an indispensable component in the manufacturing of flight cases. It is commonly referred to as a dish-shaped embedded butterfly lock, a flight case lock, or a road case latch, among other names, in different regions. Despite the varying terminology, the application remains consistent. By twisting the locking mechanism, it secures the lid and body of the flight case, allowing for effortless opening and closing.
The external dimensions of this lock measure 112MM in length, 104MM in width, and 12.8MM in height. A narrow 9MM height version is also available, featuring an offset that enables seamless installation onto aluminum materials. Additionally, the lock incorporates a padlock hole, providing the option to enhance security by attaching a small padlock.
This high-quality lock is constructed from either cold-rolled iron with a thickness of 0.8/0.9/1.0/1.2MM or durable stainless steel 304. The weight of the lock varies depending on the thickness of the material used, ranging from 198 grams to 240 grams. For iron materials, the surface treatment typically employs electroplated chromium, while blue zinc and coating black options may not be readily available in stock.
